The Position

Account Executives (AEs) generate business by developing lending relationships between Equity Prime Mortgage and thrid party originators (TPOs). Account Executives drive our growth and reputation within the industry, offering our brokers and their customers a variety of products, competitive rates, and excellent service.

 

Account Executives spend a lot of time in the field, continually working to grow a network of third party originators, industry contacts and other valuable referral sources. AEs work independently but are part of the Wholesale Sales Team and are supported by the Wholesale Operations Team. AEs are responsible for upholding the company's commitment to our clients, maintaining a high standard in service and professional ethics. AEs report up to the Senior Vice President of Third Party Origination.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and sign-on qualified third party originators/broker accounts
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective and current accounts 
  • Provide training and support to accounts with systems, processes, guidelines, and updates
  • Serve as liaison between accounts and the operations teams
  • Actively manage account pipelines and provide projectsion to management
  • Work to achieve a high success rate converting loan applications to funded loans
  • Strive for a consistent monthly production amongt accounts
  • Prioritize time and tasks accordingly to ensure goals and timelines are being met

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
  • Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the resolve to overcome sales obstacles
  • Tech savvy and quick-learning

Education

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred

Experience

  • Recent Wholesale Account Executive experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required
  • Working knowledge of the wholesale lending process, loan programs, guidelines and regulations
  • Familiarity with the local and regional market and lender competition within the market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator is a plus
