The Position

The Senior Processing Trainer provides support to all company employees through training, communication, reference materials, and troubleshooting assistance on Originating and Processing matters. The Senior Processing Trainer has an in-depth knowledge of the loan process and a strong understanding of company procedures. 


The Senior Processing Trainer works closely with all prospective, new and existing employees, managing cohesive relations between the Home Office departments and the teams at our Office locations. They are responsible for giving exemplary customer service and for upholding company standards. This position is part of the Client Relations team and reports to the Vice President of Client Relations.


  • Administer the onboarding and welcoming process for new hires and new offices
  • Provide training to new employees and new offices
  • Assist with the setup of systems and user accounts
  • Serve as interim Loan Setup and Processor for new offices, as needed
  • Provide training to Originators and Processors on technology, policies & procedures
  • Develop, update and improve training materials
  • Announce important system and process changes internally and externally, as needed
  • Continually grow our knowledge base of our Loan Origination Software (LOS), products and services
  • Communicate in a professional and timely manner with all parties of the loan transaction, as appropriate
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues escalated to Client Relations


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
  • Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Tech savvy and quick-learning
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment


  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred


  • Minimum of 3 years of recent mortgage industry experience
  • Working knowledge of lending guidelines and a thorough understanding of the process and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Encompass 360
  • Fluency in a secondary language, preferably Spanish
