The Position

Regional Sales Managers oversee a team of Account Executives (AEs) within the Wholesale channel. The Regional Sales Manager ensures their team is performing their best in generating business by developing lending relationships with third party oritinators. Regional Sales Managers are responsible for strategic planning, training, and development of initiatives and processes that improve business leads, relationships and loan production. 


Regional Sales Managers help ensure our team of AEs are as best equiped as possible when growing our network of TPO accounts and building Equity's reputation within the Wholesale industry. Regional Sales Managers report to the Senior Vice President of Third Party Origination.


  • Establish productivity targets and manage AEs to specific productivity measurements
  • Work with AEs in the field to assist in sales calls and account management
  • Represent the company at local tradeshows and conferences
  • Work with internal operations and AEs to ensure policy and procedures are executed
  • Establish Third Party Lending strategic sales planning and territory management
  • Setup strategic selling and technology training (leveraging our TPO website)
  • Update product training and operations process training procedures and material
  • Develop sustained recruiting and hiring practices within a specified territory or region
  • Assist new hires with start up plans, procedures and training
  • Develop market intelligence as it relates to competitive profiling, prodcuts and market trends
  • Create business development initiatives and put together annual business plans
  • Other projects and related items assigned


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
  • Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the resolve to overcome sales obstacles
  • Able to analyze data and apply logic accordingly
  • Tech savvy and quick-learning


  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred


  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required
  • Previous management or team leadership experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the wholesale lending process, loan programs, guidelines and regulation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the local and regional market and lender competition within the market
  • Experience with Optimal Blue and/or Encompass is a plus
