    The Position

    Sales Managers oversee the Office production and generate business by providing financial services to customers looking to purchase or refinance their home. Equity offers a variety of mortgage products and competitive rates so that our Sales Managers and their team of MLOs can provide borrowers with personalized guidance on the best products available to them.


    Sales Managers are part of the sales team and are supported by the operations teams both within the local office and at our Home Office. They are continually working to develop relationships with borrowers, realtors, builders, personal networks, and other valuable referral sources. Sales Managers are responsible for upholding the company's commitment to its borrowers and its high standards in customer service and professional ethics. Sales Managers report to the Office's Vice President of Sales.


    • Recruit, Train and Assist the Office's team of MLOs and sales support staff
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, prospective customers, and referral sources
    • Attend industry networking, training and promotional events, as needed
    • Evaluate prospective client needs and explain the available options
    • Obtain completed 1003 and other required forms, disclosures and items based on program
    • Enter and upload loan information into Loan Origination Software (LOS), Encompass
    • Order credit reports, Automated Underwriting System (AUS) results, and other items as appropriate
    • Manage Lock requests, extensions, and other rater items with Secondary Marketing
    • Handle meetings and communication with borrowers throughout the loan process
    • Address borrower questions regarding interest rates, programs, fees, etc.
    • Assist in following up with borrowers on outstanding items or conditions as needed

    • Tech savvy and quick-learning
    • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment


    • High school diploma required
    • College degree preferred


    • Recent loan origination experience
    • Successful completion of the NMLS Uniform State Test (UST)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous management or team leadership expreience
    • Experience with Encompass 360
    • Fluency in a secondary language, preferably Spanish
