  • The Position

    The purpose of the Office Bookkeeper position is to provide administrative support for the branch office, allowing the Vice President of Sales and staff to focus their efforts on generating business by providing professional financial services to customers specific to the purchasing, reversing, or refinancing of a residential real estate property. Office Bookkeepers are responsible for upholding Equity Prime Mortgage’s commitment to its borrowers, maintaining a high standard in customer service and professional ethics. Office Bookkeepers report to the Vice President of Sales.


    Maintenance of Office

    • Ensure the office is neatly maintained and kept presentable for borrowers and vendors
    • Day to day duties include answering the phone, greeting visitors, handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages, assisting with appointments and accommodations, etc
    • Maintenance of files and records, helping with organization and distribution of information and messages to Vice President of Sales and other staff members
    • May be asked to order supplies, marketing materials, etc
    • Special projects as dictated by management


    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
    • Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
    • A thorough understanding of the limitations of the position



    Education, Training & Experience

    • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
    • Completion of the Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Lending, and Equity Origination trainings are required
